Mobile App Discontinued
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.

Yeah, it is not ideal, but I don't think there's a better alternative currently with the new software. It is developing at a faster rate than the old software though, so ya never know.
A work-around I use is to right click and open each quote on other pages in a new page then copy/paste. A bit fiddly, but I manage...somehow...
Did somebody mention functionality?

Will the side bar thing be updated to just show watched/subscribed boards like it was on the old Forum with My BigFooty? Think it'd be fantastic if it was just those boards, rather than having to open entire Forums like Australian Rules, Team Boards etc.

The options to change font size, add emoticons, change font colourm, insert image, media, quote...basically the whole toolbar when replying to a thread is not available on Ipads. My desktop has it OK but not the Ipad. Fornicate it.
When i go to log into tipping from the link that Chief posted in the "tipping?" question thread, it says my query is empty when i try to log in.... cant get into it...

you can do this by using the watch forum button which works the same as subscribed forums on the old one... they go to the top of your forum jump

When you watch a forum, you get a pop up asking if you'd like to be notified of "new threads only" or "new threads and all replies", and then it asks you what type of notification you would like: "email", "alert", "email and alert".
Can we have a "no notification" option, please? As there are some boards I like to put on my "watch" list but don't want to receive constant notifications for them, just like to have them there in the sidebar to easily navigate to them when i want to lurk/browse. While other boards I want to receive constant notification of activity.

Works great. But a) the boards are all in a seemingly random order, and b) does it mean I have to get Alerts every time someone posts a thread on those boards? Any way to turn that off?

The Tapatalk App on iPhones doesn't want to log into the forum anymore, says the forum is either restricing access or a plugin isnt installed.

yeah boards aren't in the order they were on the odl forum.... i imagine that would be rectified at some stage. should be a pretty easy fix.
as for the alerts, you only had a choice of email, alert, email and alert... and new thread or new thread and reply.... there was no "no alert" option... i ticked the new threadx and alert so i'm not getting too many alerts but i can imagine getting more.
i don't subscribe to any of the australian rules boards as they are already at the top anyway, so maybe that is why i get less alerts... but either way there should be functionality added for getting noa alert.

also when quoting someone the quoted person's name should be a bit more prominent... it's very easy to skip over it.

just looking at the watched/subscribed forums list on the sidebar.... rather than being in the order they are on display, they are ordered by forum number... was done by the former in the old one which is a bit easier for usability... you can hover over the forum link and you'll see in the status bar the forum # appended at the endx

Still trying to get an answer as to if there is anyway to untick 'view all images' like there was under the old system.
