The centre-alignment - does it go away when you click a link or refresh the screen?

Yes - the centre alignment does not worry me as much as I first feared - that it prevented posting, editing, 2nd quoting - it just happens after you do one of these and seems to coincide with getting that dam Error message so often

Chief Youtube vids are working, but no sound within the forum. I can view on youtube with sound though. Happens at work, havnt tested at home as only discovered half an hour ago. Known issue?

This may have been mentioned before but is there any way to mark your 'watched threads' as read without clicking the 'mark forums read' button?

Seems a bit extreme to mark entire forums as read when all I want to do is clear my watched threads.

It's annoying when I try to clear a backlog of watched threads but it also marks every thread I haven't read on the Freo board or the main board as read.

I would have thought an upgraded system would be a bit more user friendly when it comes to this stuff. Surely you can't expect us to open every thread individually and click on 'unwatch thread'.

At least the old system let us unsubscribe from the MyBigfooty page without opening the thread.

Down the bottom of your watched threads page, click 'show all watched threads'. It will bring up the full list of threads you are watching (both read and unread), with tickboxes beside them.

You can select the ones you want to manipulate and change the notification options, unwatch, etc.

There's a bug in the @ tagging system. It can't find anyone who has more than one space in their name.
Eg: "Dirty Bird" can be tagged. But "The Great Barry Besanko" can't be.

As a work-around, tho a hassle, perhaps force characters (like underscores, dashes) in all usernames?

Swear filter can be bypassed between tags and also in mailto: tags
But I'm guessing from your reply you already knew that

No we won't be changing all names to suit a problem with one add-on. I think it is pretty much a known issue.

No I had no idea what the issue was.

Issues need to be described briefly and precisely so we get to the heart of the matter quickly and fix them.

Yep, sometimes they do show twice, it's a third party script, so we kinda have to take the good with the bad.

Chief: I have a screen shot for you of the issue I raised yesterday. I won't insert it inline with this post as it will look large, but will link you instead.
It appears to be with safari on mac if you leave a big footy tab for a period of time and come back to it (I wasn't counting minutes) that is when it occurs.

Interesting. The tip deserves a site-wide announcement I've seen a heap of people not tagging users with multiple words in their name beacuse they don't know how.

Not sure if this has been asked but the old site showed when a post was edited, adding the time and date of the alteration to the post. Haven't noticed this feature with the new site. Is it available? No biggie... I'm just worried about people retrospectively amending their goal kicking choice in a game on our board.
