I would have gone with:
1. Clearly it hasn't been updated for a couple of years.
2. It's incredibly unimportant because what you set there doesn't really show up anywhere. If you care that much use the 'Other teams' section. (Edit: As I see you have)
3. This is an Australian football forum so having which domestic soccer team you follow really isn't worth getting your panties in a bunch.

I know this is an Australian football forum, but what's the point of having an A-League section if you can't list your team. may as well get rid of the NRL, A-League, Shield and so on sections and just expand the "other teams" section.

There's little point, because those sections do basically nothing. Other teams is the only one that gets displayed anyway, so why worry about it?

Chief how come, when I do a search the last few days, I only get a maximum of 10 pages of search results ie 200 posts?

I did a search of - Adelaide Oval - and ticked the "Search titles only" box, on the Port board and got 10 pages ie 200 post results. I know we have had several threads about it and last one since the vote to go ahead with it was started in mid 2010 has around 670 posts, so I would have expected at least that number of posts. But all 200 search results were for that thread. I can't find any of the older threads that had Adelaide Oval in the thread title and if I don't tick search titles only box, I still only get 200 results which only goes back to 6th November.

Any ideas why the search function is so limited?

99% of the time they're not. Most inappropriate avatars are usually just removed.

Ok ,so would it appriote to have a pic of jen aniston or scarlett johannsson or anna kournikova smoking as an avatar?
there are lots of those around the net and easy to get

Anything overtly sexual is generally discouraged. Admin judge them on a case by case basis.

Anyone had issues posting on here using android tablets? For some reason when I try to type a post, it only displays the first letter of each word. Weird.

Have tried the default browser and firefox...same deal. Its the only forum which I have this problem. Odd thing is, android phone is fine?
