Can I enter my tips for round 1 on this thread?

i have two issues i'm getting

1 - i am almost never type my password in correctly on the first layover screen where you log in? before you roll your eyes, if it was once or twice i would know i've mistyped. but it's about a 90% fail rate. if i copy and paste it always works so it's not an issue with the form. what i think is happening is the javascript is still loading when i go to type so it isn't reading the first letter or two. obviously i could just slow down a bit. or there could be some crazy coincidence but there's no other web-site where i have this issue.

2 -

A couple of other random bugs too - occasionally the whole site just randomly centres all the text on the page, and (more regularly and more annoyingly) it will sometimes change half my post to some tiny font after I hit post, so I have to go back and edit it to a normal size. I've seen other people's posts with slabs of tiny font too so others must be having the issue as well.

i am having this issue as well. it's a pain in the ass. i have used tinymce to develop plenty of web-sites and i've never seen this problem occur with it.

Not really a big issue but the Moderator's username/title should be in a lighter shade of blue, as it is impossible to read it when you click on their username, as shown below


As you can see the dark blue text is hard to read in the dark grey background. The colour of the font should be easier to read like it would for a spec/super mod or admin, as shown below

Having a few dramas, the area where you write posts is all greyed out on my computer. No doubt I've push the wrong button somewhere.

On my phone now and can post no wozzas. Please help.


P.S. My computers A okay otherwise.

Long shot, but try clearing your cache. I was having a problem yesterday where the image box thing to add an image in a post was grey/not showing. Clearing my cache solved that.

Having troubles with Bigfooty on Internet Explorer 8 ...

When I try to reply to a message ... the reply text box has not appeared.
Even if I just want to write a message the text box isnt there.
Any suggestions? I have cleared the cache

Others maybe having the same problem but obviously cannot reply

PS ... I downloaded Firefox and the problem disappeared (that's how I managed to write this) but I prefer IE8

Could you do me a favour and try IE10 in compatibility view and see if that fixes it?

IE has had horrible standards compliance since the day it was born.

I just downloaded IE 10, which seemed to take forever and everything seems to be working ok now.

I just don't have the patience to get my head around other browsers.
Although I might persist with firefox for a little while.

Some mods who close the thread have to get a last little snipe in or their opinion as though its the correct one. It's been happening more and more, why can't they just close it with a reason for closure? It's getting pretty tiring.
Also, some just hand our completely unreasonable bans taking into account the offence, its just a clear abuse of power if they're pissy from a loss or have a personal vendetta.

IE8 was fine until it stopped me being able to post on BF. Now I've got IE10 and nothing but BF works

Well i was trying to tell you that i had the same issues...it's a bit hard to get a message across when you are unable to reply or post in any threads .

I am now using Firefox, for some reason this site decided that IE is no good anymore on this site .

How many BF tabs in IE do you guys have open? Since ie8 IE does frame merging when opening multiples tabs for the same site. Supposed to be for performance, but can cause strange issues to occur

For me, posting doesn't even work with no tabs open.
