Re: Thank Me !!!

One of the best games he's played IMO.

It's great to see him when he's up and running and setting up goals without looking.
He's truly amazing when hes on, he really is. One of the best to watch.

That look away handpass over his shoulder to Corey was the best piece of football I've ever seen.

Great game Stevie J......

Can anyone point me to a link with Stevie J's look away handball

I'm sure he's done one or two of these in the past - I think last year. Anyone jog my memory?

BDP mate he was only a week away from being dropped from mine too. I dropped Burton earlier in the year too - big mistake!

He has done them before but I don't think he has done one so successfully as last game.

Joel Corey didn't even have to break stride, it was perfectly weighted and directed.

It will go down as one of the great pieces of play this year

And yes, I had Steve in my Super Coach team - cha-ching!!

Gave one to Chapman at some point in the finals series I think, either grand final or qualifying. Was roughly at the 50m line if I recall correctly. Could be wrong about it being during the finals, but definitely to Chapman.

I think the one you are thinking of is the game v Port Adelaide- Rnd 21, handpass to Chapman on the 50m arc Chapman kicks it to bring the Cats within 6 points of Port, Brilliant stuff.

I sometimes get annoyed at his lack of forward line pressure but he makes up for it with displays such as vs Carlton last round, very important player for the GFC.

But he did it over his head while running in the other direction, yeah?

Sort of over his shoulder, maybe it wasn't the one you were thinking of :o

I just remember that play and since you mentioned a pass to Chapman i presumed it was the Port match, he does it quite well (and often) though.

Over the shoulder, over the head, all the same really. My memory plays tricks on me it seems? I must be becoming senile.

Did one noticable one against Richmond at Skilled last year to Kelly, who then booted it out of mid-air for a goal, and also kicked Simmonds in the guts at the same time...hmm, may have watched the season highlights DVD too many times me thinks...:D
