Whole thing reads to me that the AFL want Baz to be the face of the league.

I've never seen a player plasted everywhere from commercials to supermarkets so quickly. It was happening by his second year when he was still a bit part player.

They've been grooming him for it his whole career, but his form - up until this year - has never justified the title.

Being the conservative corporation they are though, they can't do it while he's carrying on every second week. I doubt it's due to any care for Baz, it's what they want from him.

The comment on marketability summed it up for me.

It's not like the guy needs more money or endorsements, he's set for life already if he's got any smarts with his fortune.

It's a proposal at the end of the day, mixed with the threat of "don't do it again".

The only reason that Dillon was there with Mackie, that dog Hocking and Scott was to suspend Sniff for drug use, stinks to high hell that Smith was a "Late Out" 2 days later.

Apparently there was a social media post (now deleted) showing Smith's drug use!

Transparency? How about collusion and corruption again involving the higher echelons of the AFL & Geelong!!!!
