He's too good to not be on a list

I remember when we got him that the Port board was genuine in hoping that he could cement his place on our list, there was no ill-will, nothing but praise.
The Port board also shared the sentiment that he had never been given a proper extended go when others had been given more of an undeserved run.

I thought he did enough last season to work his way into the best 22. Maybe he came out due to team balance.
I am hoping we can find a place for him, I thought he showed a lot last game - imagine what he could do with a decent run at it.
Real X factor also, and he kicked with precision. He also got the ball rolling in setting up the first point and first goal.

Everyone loves the man, but it's very difficult to tell whether
1) his versatility is his own worst enemy
2) the lack of definitiveness from his coaches as to what his exact role is in the side leads to a self-fulfilling prophecy
3) he's just that little bit behind his competition for his most suited role as an inside mid at both clubs - ie. couldn't justify playing him as an inside mid ahead of Boak, Wines, Ebert in the day at Port and nor at West Coast with Yeo, Shuey, Redden and not quite dynamic enough to justify playing as a specialist forward either

Genuinely feel he could carve out a decade plus career as a bit part / second fiddle depth specialist as he is someone any club would like on their list, but for any of the above reasons he just hasn't been able to nail down a consistent spot in the seniors despite never letting anyone down and continually exhibiting such potential.

He’s out apparently. Heard Simmo talking on the radio. I think it’s some sort of injury?

Poor timing to pick up a injury for AhChee ..
Just makes it too easy for MC to rule out this week even though with a legend like Kennedy coming back didn’t really matter..
