Is he an eagles fan? I know he has family here though.
It would be a fair swap Moir for Chesser, enigmatic HF in the mould of L Ryan, had some injuries but has that enate ability to kick goals from anywhere, speed and the vertical leap.
At worst is Brockman at best L Ryan lite?

Need to see if Moir can be shaken loose. Yeah, he may of just re-signed but he was a massive Eagles fan and has family in Perth.
Would definitely be asking the question.
Make it clear that Chesser is a required player despite being uncontracted and that we need adequate compensation for wasting all the development we've put into him.
We should have asked for him last year instead of Owies before he re-signed.
Problem with Chesser is that he's uncontracted, so it would have helped if there was interest from another team.

So after 3 years of bashing the club for recruiting him, now we are bashing the club for not signing him to a multi year deal (but had we done so earlier, this forum would have exploded).

how many of these sort-of players do you invest so much in? if he still wants to go even when deals are matched, then so be it. But he has enormous history of ankle problems, it's unlikely they will just go away.

Who is bashing? Surely this is just 'a thing' - it's not moving the needle either way?

Although I'm not too disappointed about losing him, it's still a bit deflating that he's chosen Carlton despite both offers being similar. He seemed like a pretty loyal guy, but can't begrudge him wanting a fresh start after the 4 years we've had.

Which I feel the worst of is behind us.

It’s ahead for Carlton - in a compromised era of drafts

So still nothing from Ryan Daniels?

Refuse to re-activate the fascist app to check.
It’s all good Ghostie; I doom scroll past the nudity and right wing algorithm enough so you don’t have to

It's honestly fine if he stays or goes... Providing we can get another quick winger with a tank from somewhere else... Doesn't have to be Carlton

Alternatively an early second rounder... Or psd

Body of work over four years is non existent (them the breaks with injuries)... 2 year deal is smart management by the club

It's really really really not that bad. We are going to get a return for a player we were likely to delist. This is a drop in the ocean compared to someone like Harley leaving, and if we could convince Harley to turn down an 11 year contract from Hawthorn we are in an ok place.

Take the F2, or find a way to move up in this draft. There's no point melting about Campbell f**king Chesser.
