Yeah I heard he went to a party and brought a 4 pack of vodka and cranberry mixers. I'm hoping he's put that kinda shit behind him now.
I heard they were actually lemon ruskis, and a club official had to pull him aside and educate him on the harmfulness of communism.

Interesting about Jack Graham, didn't know that. Would be very helpful for him having someone at the club who has been through the same thing.
Speaks well, when not coughing.
GET THAT MAN SOME WATER........oh finally.

I've been very bullish on this kid since we drafted him and now that he's getting some continuity you can see his confidence growing each week.
I remember listening to him on the podcast I think it was either last year or the year before where he spoke about how he goes about his recovery to ensure he can get the most out of his body and ensure he is in peak physical condition. I thought then that he had the mindset to make the most of his career (if only his body can hold up)

Others may disagree with me here but the way he trains, and plays, and with the cofidence and swagger he shows on field is almost Cuz like. I'm not saying he'll be as good, that would be tough to achieve. But I think he has the potential to be very special. His press conference today even suggests to me that one day he could be captain.

If he continues on his growth over the last 3 weeks and can build on it throughout the rest of the season, I can see it as possibly being what convinces Harley to stay on with us. The idea of Hewy and Harley leading the midfield in a few years time is very exciting. Hopefully we can add another at the top end of the draft this year and we suddenly have the Cuz,Judd,Kerr trio of the new era.

In commentary Simpson said he’s never going to be a 30 possession type, more of a burst athlete. I think that’s unduly pessimistic, he used to rack up the possessions as a junior and in this interview he acknowledges that he’s still building fitness and sees himself as a mid ideally.
Probably be like Shuey. Have the odd 30 plus games but mostly 20-25 possessions.

I would give an appendage to either bring in through free agency or the draft just a straight up accumulator. Someone who can get themselves from contest to contest to contest and just rolls out of bed and can get you 25 easily.

I'm sick to death of seeing top 10 disposal getters in a game and 8 of them are the opposition.

I had never been as excited about a player we picked when we chose him.
More excited then when we picked Reid
