Yep. Attack on the ball, or opponent, isn't exactly something we've had in spades lately. The impressive stat is the final few games having an average of 6 tackles per game. That is elite for a wingman and shows he's happy to charge in and get his hands dirty and help the boys out. Its great that he doesn't avoid the contest and give him a few years and he might develop into a decent balanced mid

Hamish Davis put up strong form in the WAFL to earn an AFL recall late in the season. YES
Thankfully a lot of clubs were put off by his kickingHow did this guy last to pick 60whatever?
As solid as they come off a wing. Could've done it all last year(his first season) too tbf
I follow gridiron pretty closely and two of the most consistently good teams, the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles, have a reputation for nailing the draft, often by just sitting and waiting for highly-rated players to just fall into their laps while everyone says “how did this happen again?”How did this guy last to pick 60whatever?

Its literally just that easy I guessI follow gridiron pretty closely and two of the most consistently good teams, the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles, have a reputation for nailing the draft, often by just sitting and waiting for highly-rated players to just fall into their laps while everyone says “how did this happen again?”
Anyway, I feel like that’s the type of draft we had last year. Allan was projected anywhere from 8-12 and we got him at 15; Shanahan was supposed to go in the early teens and we got him at 30, and Davis was a likely top 40 pick who fell to 65. Lo and behold they’re all best 23 players early in their second seasons.
Even Tom Gross, who hasn’t had the returns of the others yet, was regarded as a guy who would go between 25-40 and we grabbed him at 46. Just one of those years where the draft fell the right way and the Eagles managed to not overthink it and just took the best players available.
Yep. For years we've tried to be the smartest in the room and grabbed players way ahead of where they were tipped to go (looking at you Chesser). It was great to see us pivot from that strategy for once.I follow gridiron pretty closely and two of the most consistently good teams, the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles, have a reputation for nailing the draft, often by just sitting and waiting for highly-rated players to just fall into their laps while everyone says “how did this happen again?”
