Finally it all came to fruition and we now start the new season with what is looking like an awesome group of young men.

Yep. They're all still in delusion that he'll request a trade home after 12 months, despite having a dig earlier in the year at JHF for it and he looks genuinely excited to head west.

Some BODE supporters think it's a dead-cert he'll request a trade there in 3 years, despite telling recruiters pre-draft he'd rather play for Collingwood than the team he grew up supporting and players we've drafted from Geelong/Country nearly all staying in WA post-playing career.

Doubt he gets over for training tomorrow although that would be pretty cool, but by next Wednesday there's going to be a monstrous crowd at Lathlain to give him a cheer. I'd imagine there will be plenty out in force even for the closed Monday session.

Nic is the absolute perfect mentor for Harley.
There hasn't been this level of attention on our first pick since Nic, and he handled it all with aplomb.
