Wright played VFL with him this year.

Bo Allan’s debut wasn’t announced until just before team selection last week and Shanahan only comes in if Archer Reid is ruled out which would not be done until main training today

So if he is to debut, don’t expect any announcement until later this afternoon

He’s developing nicely in the WAFL as the main target and this year we at least have a semi-competent midfield getting the ball to him - so he’s getting decent looks and learning to time his leads, body positioning in marking contests, etc

If one of Waterman, Williams or Reid is unavailable then sure, give him a crack. It might be this week if Reid’s ankle doesn’t come good but even then there’s a possibility if Reid can’t play that Bailey Williams comes in to support Flynn in the ruck

Must be in line for a debut on the back of a private dinner.

Lots to consider though:

What cut was the steak?

Porterhouse - probably starting on the bench and will pinch hit in the ruck.

Scotch - Starting at FF, no ruck chop outs.

Tomahawk - unlikely, that's reserved for the credits crew.

Rump - probably playing WAFL again this week.

T-bone - Happy with what you're doing and we'll bring you in if Archer doesn't get up.

Chuck - Hurry up and eat then get the f*ck out of my house Jobe.
