Pick 8 is awseome .....you are going to get a fairly solid player.

Medhurst aint a McDougall ......I think he will make you best 22 every week.

I love the MonkeyBoy Megastar. Best of luck to Medders and the Pies for 2007 and beyond. When on-song he is a great player and terrific to watch. Sad to see him go, but onwards and upwards with Taz. :)

he can replace Did's while he is injured next year, won't be as good or as smooth, but im happy its not another broken down eagles midfielder like fletcher...ie. Rintoul, Morrison..more happy about pick 8, just hope we dont screw it up by getting a **** player, who is slow and can't kick

Don't worry too much...pick 8 is an excellent result, and the skillful midfielders will come. H.Shaw, S.Pendlebury, D.Thomas, M.Clarke, L.Davis, pick 8?
No good just getting fast guys who aren't really footballers, like when we went after Tenace. This is a good result for Collingwood. :thumbsu:

Which of these did Fremantle have to give us?

The closest they could give us was a high pick in a strong draft to get what we need ourselves.

hopefully we get Jack riewoldt in the draft with pick 8, oh well anyone is good, Medhurst is pretty good and now didak can have moire time resting from his injury

Leave & go to Richmond...mate, i'll still support us & still be a member, as far as i remember, i can have an opinion on all of this. Once the dust settles, i may view differently, but a lot is going to be expected of pick 8.
I hope he does do well, however, we have seen plenty of ordinary players come to Collingwood from WA, Clement & Holland worked, but Williams, Morrison, Rintoul, Walker, is HAll from WA... & jury still out on the effectiveness of Lockyer, Davis....Good luck Paul, ill be the first to put my hand up & say i was wrong if you prove me wrong.

I'm tired of people bagging Rintoul - He played some good football for us before chronic migraines forced him to retire.

As for WA, you can't bag Andrew Williams and Chad Morrison as well as Walker, Hall and so on. Williams and Morrison were Victorians who PLAYED in WA, whereas the others were WA kids that we drafted. They're completely different things.

Lockyer wasn't bad for a rookie draft pickup, Leon is a decent goalsneak, Harry O'Brien looks pretty good... I think you're being a bit silly about all this.

we have an awesome record of transforming freo players into total superstars - jimmy and brodie. I think medhurst is a bonus to pick 8 although i'm a little depressed at losing Taz but its done now and we will go into draft on nov25 loaded up. It'll be even better when we can rotate medders, didak and leon through the middle and maybe didak can spend more time in their now. Although i wanted something more i still think medhurst will be a good player for us just have the faith.

P.S. By the way did anyone else see Taz in the purple dockers shirt on the news????? lmao funniest thing ive seen- cant believe he looks like a total clown (nothing against him as i rate him but looks awkward and seems he doesnt want to be there).

I knew Collingwood were playing the Roos first round, but how do you know when Pies vs Freo is??
 
If you can define his role, he could be anything.

For most of the games this year he looked confused as to what he was supposed to do, and when he kicked more points than goals in a couple of games he dropped his bundle.

Unfortunately for him, others moved in front and I hope he does well, except against us!
