From zero hanger:

Draft Profile: Josh Sinn
A dashing backman with plenty to offer, get to know one of the best defenders ahead of the draft.

Arguably the best medium-sized defender in the draft, Sinn has shown an adept ability to break lines and offer plenty of attack out of his side's defensive third.

Has battled ongoing injury setbacks across the past year, however Sinn was a standout for Vic Metro in their showcase clash against Vic Country as a dashing half-back capable of having an impact further up the ground.

Named at half-back for the NAB League Boys Team of the Year following a strong season with the Dragons, playing five matches this year to average close to 18 touches from defence and emerging as a first-round talent ahead of the National Draft despite setbacks.

Offers great attack from defence and is touted as a first-round selection thanks to his speed and ability to slice open play with long kicking to begin a transition.

11. Josh Sinn
Best position: General defence
Height, weight:186cm, 72kg
Recruited from: Sandringham Dragons
Projected draft range: 5-20
Plays like: Lachie Ash
July ranking: 8
Rationale: On return from an early season hamstring injury Josh Sinn has displayed his eye-popping run and carry. Others have however been more consistently influential, productive and won more of their own ball which sees Sinn drop as others rise.
Strengths:
Agility to stop on a dime, then accelerate in another direction, wrong-footing opponents and burst past them at speed
Breaks the lines with ball in hand at a high frequency and with significant acceleration
Versatility to impact games both through the midfield and in defence
Kick placement out in front of inside-50m targets to lead onto
Hurt-factor by foot
Consistency by foot over short distances
Weaknesses:
Contested ball winning
Inconsistency

First of all, surely we are extracting the urine. I can't believe he didn't go higher.

Second of all, Finlayson is no longer called Roller, as Josh Sinn is now called Roller.

I liked the way he spoke immediatley before and after being drafted - he seems genuinely excited to be coming to Port and looks like a keeper!

Welcome, Josh. Work hard on your skills, your fitness and your understanding of game styles. You must become a better kick, from what I've seen.
