Hopefully after a few fast paced AFL games, he's able to go back to the WAFL and be more composed in possession.

After that it's back to AFL with the expectation that, in time, his WAFL poise transfers over.

But in all seriousness I think we saw a few good things from mutimer. The fact that he had the courage and skill to pull off that sidestep and additionally l had tonnes of pressure acts demonstrates that he isn't a one dimensional player and that we have something to work with here.

Of course poor Mut was going to either not touch the footy or get injured. Great way to debut a player on a derby. Lets just put extra pressure on a kid. I hope he passes fitness and gets up to play power.

A bit surprised tbh after only 1 AFL game, and it seems a bit early in the season. Probably not an uncommon move for us giving 2 year extensions to mostly untried young players (i.e. Colledge, Karpany, etc). Hopefully he'll develop into a regular in the team in the next 2 years. Love to see a few promising games from him in the AFL this year.

Kurt needs to work on his tank but I was very happy with his performance yesterday. A very solid second game.

Still don't know how he plucked that mark. His strength over the ball looks a lot more promising than other WC midfield prospects from the last few years. Really looking forward to seeing how he develops from here!
