I feel like the last mature-aged draftee who was an inside bull and tackled like crazy, but lacked foot speed, was quite unpopular among a large segment of this board.

Went to South Freo for a year after his draft year and was stuck in the reserves.
Same problem when he returned to Melbourne to play in the VFL.
I'm guessing he must've quit footy by now.

Feels a bit like that, but nothing wrong with that at pick 60.
As I said in the other thread if we get five-ish years out of him as a decent rotational option through the midfield, that's a good bit of work.
He's tackling numbers on his WAFL stats page were nice, but lets see how that translates into tackling at AFL level.
He'll start on rookie wage and unless he explodes like Tim Kelly he'll probably never go too far above median wage.
Pretty confident that he's going to be a good moneyball style pick for us. If you believe the reports of our tight cap (and given the amount of stars on our list, I don't think they are far off the mark) this is the sort of pick that should help that out.
Who was also a Subiaco mid. Had better hair though, let's face it.
A more experienced Older Erasmus/Johnson. Good Pickup.

Needs to be in the top 30.
Stoked WC have picked him up, cant wait to see Clarke in the Blue and Gold. Going to be alot of healthy competition in the midfield now, hopefully the committee starts rewarding form over big names though or its pointless.
