hoping he can come in and contribute as a role player ala hutchings

Wow - fantastic presser from Clark, refreshingly honest and a great insight into his feelings about waiting so long for the chance. Love his admission about how he wouldn’t have lasted long as an 18 year old draftee. Hope he absolutely smashes it here.

What a fantastic addition to our football club. Whilst he’s technically a first year player he will be able to teach some of our younger players a fair bit about resilience, humility and making the most of your opportunities

I really hope he makes it

Also the auto response to Glenda for every msg says a fair bit the clubs normal social media presence

A lot of companies have an auto-response when you message them on social.

Club confirmed they replied to her messages, it's just not in the cropped screenshot.

You are reading too much into it.

Clark is quality. His leg speed might be problematic in 3-4 years time but I think he'll be fine for now, he's a smart footballer.

Can't wait to see him sharing the workload and doubling the aggression around the stoppages with Elliot.

New mid-field coaches, Redden out for a while and 2 good mature midfield options picked up - bodes well for at least a new look on the ball.
He's not as slow as Johnson and while Johnson might end up an inside mid he's currently more outside than not.

Clark didn't get picked up not because of a lack of pace but because he was an outside midfielder with mediocre footskills. Same reason Lim didn't get picked up.

Hopefully this is a situation where we have actually gotten in early on a mature age guy instead of waiting to spend more later on. (TK, Ryan etc)

He's an absolute gun in the WAFL so at worst he should be handy depth for years to come and at best he will be a mainstay inside mid. Very happy with this pick and at 62 is even better.

Hard to know what to expect at AFL level. Sounds like a well grounded adult and a good leader.
Whatever he's lacking (footskills?) presumably he works on it and adds something new to the team.
Hoping he adds, if not speed, some link-up attack and grunt through the middle.
Looking forward to watching him play!

If Greg can bring some heat around the stoppages it will be a huge boon.

Legit thought he was close to 30. 24 is still young for a guy who is pretty much fully developed. Can't have done much more than rip up the WAFL as he has. Hope he takes the chance and here's hoping he has a long and positive credit balance career with us.

Vanilla and pistachio.... delicious

He was a winger with fa contested game wasn't he?

Bulked up, will give his all.

Good luck to the lad

He's already my favourite player
