He’s looking bigger in those preseason photos so far

Imagine if he brought the level of intensity and confidence he played with against the Bulldogs (2019) to every game? We'd have a star.
Reckon this bloke has quietly put together a very pleasing first two outings for the club, especially considering a less than ideal preseason and then a niggle early today. Keep it up SPS.

Played a bit better today fu** he seems to fumble the ball a lot tho and still looks very proppy with that strapped knee
Has been going ok, doesn’t look 100% fit to me.
On the bright side, the injuries/Covid have forced Simpson to involve him in the play when his ideal position is the Ah Chee role of non-goal scoring forward who gets minimal touches and tries to fly for a couple of speccys each game.
If SPS can’t fill this role, I’m not sure what future he has.
I think his only bet is a role off half back , unfortunately we have a glut of half backers so it would be hard for him to break in to the defence, i just that think half forward role you have to work a lot with sometimes not much reward he doesn’t seem to be much of accumulator of the ball and is a type player that will go missing here and there. He’s a decent kick and once he gets that knee fixed I could see him gliding off half back sort of in a Jetta/Sheppard sort of role. I can’t see him succeeding in midfield or forward line.
Where did carlton play him predominately? For pick 52 it was an absolute steal.
A lot of your blokes thought he was a spud. He isnt, he was just played out of position and his development was set back.
As an outside mid or HFF he could be a real weapon.
Reading this post was like picking up one of those budget erotic novels they used to stock in that weird isle at Woolworth's amongst the old copies of Home Living and Better Homes & Gardens and having a quick read, and then having to put down your shopping basket in shame and disgust and walk home with a raging boner.Samo is a jet.
Once he gets a match where his legs aren't half caved in during play and he can run and turn freely, we shall see the forgotten diamond the club now has in its possession.
At Carlton, Teague never rated him in his best position and instead tried to turn him into a version of Saad or Jetta. Petrevski-Seton lacks both the pace and penetration of disposal to adequately fulfill such an undertaking. Besides, his potential to hurt the opposition is far, far higher when used in his natural position.
Samo is best around congestion, a traffic specialist, that can change lanes whilst on the move. He is not a stoppage bull like P.Cripps or Petracca - he is the matador that weaves around and feeds off of them, turning their brute strength into art.
West Coast have a lot of players who are very good at getting first hands on the ball at stoppages, but are then poor when it comes to getting the ball out. Petrevski-Seton has an intuitive awareness of identifying outlet lanes and hitting them with disposal that is elite. Start him off the defensive side of stoppages and have him run-through, feeding off Yeo, Kelly, Shuey etc and turning those failed clearance situations into dangerous attacking forays.
When deployed in such a way he has the talent to be one of the most damaging players in the competition.
Oh dear…
Oh dear…
We love half back flankers
Well he had 8 tackles yesterday which suggests he’s tougher than most of our players are usually. I like SPS. Just need to find the right setup that gets the most out of himPlay him half forward flank . He needs to toughen up .
