Tahni NESTOR 3-Mar-91 172cm Victoria / Redan
Nestor is a revelation, coming from one of the lower divisions in the VWFL. Playing for Redan in Ballarat, Tahni has been a shining light for the side. She plays ruck at club level but is more suited to the half-back flank or wing where she can use her natural athleticism and accurate kicking to the advantage of the team. Tahni is the quintessential modern day footballer. Tall, athletic, mobile and highly skilled but with a tough enough edge to go inside and win her own ball.

Coach Damien Keeping told carltonfc.com.au Nestor would fit in well.

"While it is very disappointing to lose Natalie with a season-ending injury, we now welcome Tahni as a top-up player," Keeping said.

"Tahni has a fierce thirst for the contest and is a neat kick. Tahni's openness to learning will ensure she fits with the culture of our playing group."

Nestor, 25, is a defender and played 15 matches for the Eastern Devils in the VFL Women's competition last year.

Welcome Tahni.

Wish we could use something other than 'top up' player, that just sounds so *. Believe we should refer to Thani as a replacement player.

Good to see my spelling influence has worked in favour of the jar. It's Tahni, not Thani.

Sorry
You can chip in for the error I made copying your spelling ...
