get a kick ffs!
TAC cup can be very political. Coaches form opinions on players that they often don't want to change, playing players they thing might make it in the AFL. Plenty of kids slip through the cracks.A lot of hype around this kids kicking and his speed, why has he never really been on a clubs radar until now, then? An elite kick with speed is every clubs wet dream
Surely not, hopefully he continues to develop in the role SPS hasn’t taken which allows Stocker midfield opportunities down the track. And about to go back to being a small forward?

Also only takes an injury at the wrong time if you are down it the pecking order.
Welcome Jordan!
100%, there is common misconception that recruiters and coaches by and large know what they are doing, and make sound calls.

Pretty fair wrap from his coach at Spotswood
Good Jordy was good. Bad Jordy was um.........Jordan, wing half back, raking kick, Carlton and Footscray list...hopefully the fans take to him better than they did Jordan Russell.

Better get our forwards to lead then, not many do.We've got him earmarked as a high half-forward who can make precision delivery inside forward 50. Which TBH is something that we desperately need.
And a fine film it was too. Alwyn Kurts was brilliant. For the young people out there, Spotswood was an early 1990s Australian film starring Anthony Hopkins.
Fortunately he has done both at Footscray, so he won't miss a beat.Either a defender we're going to play forward, or a forward we'll use in defence.
Only certainty is he'll be played out of position.
That was uncalled for. Russell is s**t.Jordan, wing half back, raking kick, Carlton and Footscray list...hopefully the fans take to him better than they did Jordan Russell.
Thing is he doesn’t need whole lot of disposals to really influence a game if his disposals are as peachy as his highlights.Re Boyd....I noticed in the short highlights on our team website his long kicking to a teammate was precise (Centermetre perfect). And yes, I agree, Harry would love him sticking the ball on his chest on his every lead. Hope Boyd is capable of getting a lot of disposals, as he'll be an asset to our side with his kicking skills seeming to be outstanding.
That and not being on an AFL list
You know he reads BF?That was uncalled for. Russell is sh*t.
Well, that's different then. If he's transitioning into a genuine small defender with pace, I'm all for it. When was the last time we had someone who could play on the quick small forwards in a close checking capacity? Won't have to play Plowmanon them.
Is that edit ok????
Each to their own. I think Plowman is a decent footballer who has trouble finding a good match up for him. I'd like to see him try other positions, even if just in the VFL.
If our midfield improves in the mean time, he will look a million dollars down back.
