Caleb and also Andy and Darcy - well done, boys!

These good news accolades coming on the heels of great mate Cerra's bailout couldn't be better timed, and maybe increase our stayers' feeling of connection with Freo.

Just give him whatever $$$ we were going to give Cerra. He has gone back to back Rising star and tied for AFL best young player.
Sign him for 8 years. Honestly wouldn’t stand it if we signed for 2-3 and the usual Victorian bias kicks in. Wouldn’t cope if he left. Sign him for life if possible

Congratulations Caleb. But also (and meaning no disrespect to Noah Anderson as it is clear he will be a very good midfielder for years to come but) can someone explain how Anderson is comparable enough to tie for this year? For the same number of games Anderson was about 50 possessions less than Serong, 20 less clearances, didn't kick any goals to Serong's 8 goals...is it a concession because Gold Coast are not very good and don't have the Fyfes and Mundys etc. to back him up ?(Not that Fyfe was around that much this year)? But this is the player's votes isn't it?

At the start of the year Anderson was on fire (probably when he got a lot of votes) and tapered off.
