Underrated post.
He has become one of my favorite Freo players, cool when the heat is on, reliable and dependable in any role he is asked to play and he seems to be fit and available most of the time. His early career seemed to be a bit interrupted by injury but touch wood he seems robust now.
Great pick up by the club and good to see him playing his part in our rise up the table and still relatively young at 26.
I never realised that he was pick 7 in the 2013 draft so it's perhaps to be expected he has plenty of talent that is now coming to the fore.

Crazy to think he wasn’t in the best 22 at the start of the season, he was playing at Peel.

I think he was coming off an injury.
Nah he has been best 22 for the last 2.5 years, was coming off injury in the preseason so had to work into it
If that's the case - probably another one 2nd in line while the club loads all it's eggs into the Jackson basket.

Aish is a role player does his job nothing special about him but gets the job done professional and efficiently.
I am surprised he was pick 7 in his draft though when the Lions picked him.
Was it weak draft i wouldn't think anything he does stood out to think gee he is a top 10 draft pick.
But i suppose the Draft is a true lottery isnt it.

he played state league at 16, and even won two premierships as an underager before he was drafted. But anyway has played over 150 games and will probably make it to 200 which even among top 10 draftees is uncommon.
It will surprise you even more to learn that for alot of that year he was in pick 1 calculations.
The genes obviously pass down alright, looking forward to when he plays his 100th for us.
Came from good pedigree in SA footy which always helps, Uncle won the Sandover/Brownlow Equiv, SA hall of famer, 300+ games and dad played 90 odd games too. Grandad was also a former captain and coach.
