He must have a bit of a motor underneath him, as he does get quite a few tackles.

I think his speed and finishing look decent enough for AFL level.

Looks like he may have got things together in the SANFL this season.

Was originally listed as a Forward in the NEAFL. So he will know where the goals are.

Might be bit like a Menegola type recruitment... Probably has a fraction more pace. But has no issues getting hardball, and can mark overhead.

Old footage.

Solid boy.

Some info from AFL website:

7. Geelong - Mitch Hardie

Woodville-West Torrens Eagles
Midfielder
185cm/82cm
05/09/97

Originally from Leeton in regional NSW, Hardie is a mature-aged midfielder who lands at the Cats after stints in Canberra and Adelaide. A ready-to-play prospect, he has averaged 26 touches, six clearances, six tackles and a goal in the SANFL for Woodville-West Torrens Eagles this season. He will head to Geelong and reunite with Cats forward Tyson Stengle, a former teammate at Woodville-West Torrens.

Dont take a 25 year old if you dont think they can have an immediate impact and hes been probably the best player in the SANFL, this weekend is way too early though, give him a couple weeks to learn the system and have him as an option post bye.
We played someone last weekend with literally 3 VFL games to his name, he should be ready to go.
