Most probably half back flank, it’s where he played this year for Gippsland and Vic Country and it’s where he has played his most consistent football. Although it wouldn’t surprise me if they used him as a pressure forward for when Poppy moves on.
Hawthorn has pre-selected Next Generation Academy player Harry Pepper in the 2019 Rookie Draft. A Category B rookie selection, Harrison Pepper has spent the past two years plying his trade with Gippsland Power, while he also had the opportunity...
Certainly hard at it!
With our bounty of backs, wonder if we could develop him into a toby greene type, long term Breuster replacement?
Love how he presents, just a little unpolished.
Reminds me quite a bit of the WA captain Robertson minus the fanfare.
Welcome to the best team in the league - Harrison - Harry - Pepper.
I can see Harry being a great addition to this fine club.
Grooming as a Poppy replacement is possible as Poppy started in defence as did a few others.
Currently a cat B rookie for now, but have a good feeling that he will turn out better than others given a full time role and
training and coaching the club has to offer him.
NB- The club has to fix up the hawks website as he is the only new recruit who is not listed as yet in the list of players.
If they can add Hartley with a dons jumper and names with no faces on it then surely Pepper must be added asap.
