I'm glad Schultz is playing better than he was last season as he was a bit of a whipping boy amongst my Pies supporting mates but the price paid for Schultz was very heavy.

He plays in a much different team where he is not the main option like he was at Freo. Collingwoods forward line is completely stacked on small and medium forwards so his numbers will look down but he has been amazing this year. Jamie Elliot I think is 2nd in the Coleman so hes playing with the best small forward in the AFL right now.

He joined a premiership team sacrificed some of his own stats for a chance at a flag, Houston has done the same thing. Ginnivan was 20 years old playing for the pies so you would expect him to continue to grow as a player at the Hawks, not sure you can imply players are better once they leave Collingwood its not like the pies are playing poorly right now.

There is absolutely no doubt a player would and does improve after leaving Collingwood. For example, they'd be playing football without feeling like an absolute flog for one, and secondly, every goal they kick won't actually improve Eddie Maguire's outlook. Nobody wants that.
