Insane that there are some out there supporting her- terrible questions, delivered terribly, and didn't get a proper response about any of it.
She's a total hack. She's aiming for the giddy heights of "ACA journalist who chases dodgy tradies down the street"

"Excuse me, do you admit to receiving $10,000 for Mr Johnson's pergola? How do you live with yourself??"

He played it as well as he could.
If he hadve responded with the tine he would've given a male cockroach, sorry - journalist, he'd have been plastered over every platform a misogynist etc

Like to see him be a tad more selfish around goal tbh.
Wholeheartedly agree with this. The team thing would be for Jack to have the shot in almost all cases.

The one exception was when he had marked the ball and had an easy shot, but decided to pass the ball to Mitch Lewis in a worse position. Mitch ended up kicking the goal, but the percentage play would have been for Jack to kick it.

The impact of giving it off to Mitch when he is making a comeback after being out for most of the last 2 years cannot be understated. That's Jack being aware of the big picture, not just putting points on the scoreboard.

I hate to have a negative spin on a positive - but Kane Cornes' praise of Ginnivan kinda frustrated me. He (after Mitchell mentioned his form to him on radio last Friday) has said that he has 'grown up' or something along those lines as a player. And absolutely, he has taken his footy to an even better level than it was last year, but it's annoying because he's always been more than a smart ass who drew free kicks.
The reason he was recruited was for his noticeable footy IQ. It stood out to me his footy nous in the 2023 Prelim when he came on as the sub in the last qtr and helped the Pies hold on to their victory like a veteran.
However Jack's last three to four months have been elite and he's been our best half forward this season out of the three (Moore,MacDonald). Seems he was really bothered in the pre-season by his foot injury, which took a while to get over.

He's had a career year (especially the back half) but Jack was actually quite good last year as well (he averaged 16.5 possessions a game in 2024).

But in typical AFL media style they are usually 12 to 24 months late arriving at a story/conclusion 🙄

Fingers crossed he is ok.

Thought he was quiet early but worked into the game so well, wanted big moments and then delivered when he had them. That goal in the second quarter was so bloody good.
What happened to ginni?

I remember Ginni hobbling when GWS ended up taking the lead from us in the last quarter. He ran out the game but you could see that he was clearly hobbled by it and at that point of the game I don't think there would've been enough time to get it re-strapped and get back out there so he just toughed it out.

My enduring memory of Ginni is the fist pump he gave himself after passing to Watson in the forward fifty against the Dogs in the elimination final last year - a little, private celebration of having done the team thing rather than taking the shot himself. Said a lot about Ginni and about the team ethos Sam has ingrained in this side. Ginni's so much more than the lair he is portrayed as being (with some reason, it must be said!)
