How did he only have 14 disposals yesterday? He looked to be everywhere and had massive impact to how we played.
Both he and Brockman didn’t have anywhere near the touches their impact suggested. We need players who can impact with possessions. Our senior side is full of guys who can accumulate but use it poorly

I see a young Michael Voss too.

He looks plenty hard, and I'm stoked to see he's developing well. But if we get half a Voss (with pace) out of Jack during his career, it's going to look like inspired recruiting.

All of our picks from last year's draft look solid IMO.

Certainly at this early stage, it's hard to fault any of them (granted it's very early doors for 3 of them). All have shown potential and serious toe already.

I was talking about his face. Not his playing style. 😂

I thought that too. I watched a second time and noticed that a few times he was called it was actually another player. Can't remember his name but there was a player who looked a fair bit like him in full flight. ;-)

I was at the game Saturday...he has some real toe.

Kicking seems to be improving as well, compared to pre-season reports.
Jack worked extremely hard on his kicking over the pre-season. Spent a lot of time one on one with either Ottens of Foley, can't remember which, just doing kicking drills. You could see his kicking improving from session to session.

Just watched those highlights from Sunday's game. Wow! Jack is exactly what we are screaming out for. Hope he can back it up.
Completely agree - just brings excitement and frenetic energy into the team... a few more of them into the side would be great. He has great awareness and composure, combined with a no fear attitude!

Very close to a complete game on the weekend; was ultra impressive!

I saw similarities with a certain James Sicily. Not through playing style, size, shape, position or impact; but the way he went about it just oozed confidence in himself and his game. Exactly what we've missed from Sicily this season

Saunders keeps these performances up and it won't be long before a senior debut

Spent time with Foley after spending time with Sam Mitchell

Did we ever find someone to replace Rath? Or was his position incorporated into other staff? Seems like a specialised kind of role.

A lot of assistant coaches have been let go across the AFL there is no specialised coaching position really apart from ruck coach

He’s got a bit to work with. 🙌

Looks like his highlight reel from the lower level he played prior to being drafted.

The really good ones tend to step up to a new level pretty quickly.

Hopefully this portends great things for The Ripper (OK, Mighty Mouse it is, but they missed a Golden opportunity there).

Seriously impressive game by the looks of this, a few more of those and he's got to be a chance for the seniors (assuming fitness is there).
