I'm pretty happy about this appointment. Always admired him as a player and seems a lovely guy. Also, he took up footy late - at about 15 apparently (switched from rugby) and came over from South Africa when he was eight, all of which adds to the experience in footy and life that he can bring as a development coach. Welcome Jason!

A lot of comments from the Bulldogs fans that he had an extra year in him.

Any particular reason for the wholesale changes on the development side? Clearly, Collins & Littlejohn were forced, & I expect Mackay''s been promoted. Really happy w appointments (Mirra seems perfect), so maybe no big deal. Is Siposs still on board but ...?

Sipposs is doing punting coaching fulltime.
Collins and Littlejohn both offered bigger roles, more $$$.
