Forget everyone else, just make an offer that's enough for him to stay.

Or people could see it as Hawthorn using Brockman as a token "see we're culturally safe now". Brockman isn't a huge resigning in the media landscape best to keep it low profile.

I get the feeling Jaylon Thorp was a massive reason for him staying tbh. They seem to have a really solid bond.

Incidentally, when I saw him a few weeks back he was looking noticeably bigger- very keen to see him playing from round one in 2023
