Everytime I watch the Crows

Me ' LEL Jenkins is such a spud'

Jenkins proceeds to kick 4
like Bruce said during the call "you see the stats tomorrow and see Jenkins kicked 4 and you would think that means a good game....." didn't need to finish that sentence. to me it feels like he is called a third tall from inside the club, he's treated like one so he has the confidence of one. Dixon wont have any numerical ranking attached to him, he will just be one of the big dogz :D

However this turns out I think it will be done fairly quickly in trade week.
GCS have a fair bit on their plate and will want to move on to their other issues.
Have we had him medically assessed yet?

Is Kane Mitchell a 15-25 range player?
?
He is and he isn't and that's the point.
His grunt in n under is wow sometimes, runs like the wind and all day long(rotations down next yr remember).
He can also specialise in clangers but they're getting less. A lot less. Yeah i'm in his corner because I know what he is.
Sandover Medalist. Magnet at the Maggies and a bit underrated. Ain't perfect but he's ours and he's gunna get better. He will make sure of that.
Amon,S Gray n AhChee say otherwise.
26-28 range.

If I was negotiating, I would one of 2 things for Dixon...

Pick 10(ish) this year alone.
OR
2nd round this year and next years first round

Maybe this years 2nd rounder could be exchanged for someone like Young, Moore, OShea or maybe Gussy.

Just a thought - and let me say I wouldnt actually want this to happen, but what would Broadbent bring to the table??

I think he would have very high value, maybe even as high as a late first round pick - I realise that he is an important member of our team, but out of all of the players in the 12-18 range - he is probably the one that we could replace the easiest!!

Would anyone consider Brogs and next years first rounder for Dixon??

Maybe a bit overs, but as they say you have to give quality to get quality!!

Broadbent is a required player and wont be going anywhere. He has signed on with Port until the end of 2019... end of story b geez
Broadbent, Pittard, Krakouer, Impey, O'Shea, Jonas plus KPD's - Trengove, Hombsch, Carlile (Clurey if one is injured). How many non-KPD's can you have playing? One of our non-KPD's backs is the obvious trade bait IF a player is to go. And one of Broadbent, Pittard, O'Shea of those (as Jonas is a negator and Impey is our lock down on small forwards).

Now I'm NOT saying we should trade them, but the whole 'every player is required' line is just not true. Preferred to hold, definitely, but smart trading is about getting something you need, by giving up a player that you can cover leaving without many issues. And losing a HBF'er as part of the trade is most definitely coverable. If it was next years 1st round pick + HBF'er for Dixon plus second rounder in return, that's a fair trade. I'd prefer pick 10 straight up, but both sides need to agree to a trade.
