Just play the game. We will get him for a fair price, the Suns are already shopping our pick around for what they need so have a little faith. The PSD option isn't the best option as other clubs will get in before us. The deal will get done and we won't pay overs for him.
This is it, if the Suns are getting something they want for our pick then it's a deal.

If there is one down side about the AFL is that you don't have a "Charlie Dixon - welcome to Port Adelaide" youtube video with highlights as you get with any player even tenuously linked to a Premier League side such as Liverpool (and however rubbish they may be). Therefore I can't even pretend I've done some scouting on Dixon, as youtube videos of him are scarce. I was sold on the idea early on though - can't we just sign him already? I want to see that guy playing along with the wizard Wingard.

It'll come once the deal is done; our social media team is elite.

the old don't count your chickens before they hatch.....while the trade looks optimistic nothing is certain when dealing with rival clubs unfortunately

This is a small highlights package from the Gold Coast's first two year's - the Suns put it out in August 2012 after he re-signed for 2 years. He was 20 when the Gold Coast debuted and turned 21 in September of 2011, so he was already over 100 kgs. Because he was from Far North Queensland town of Cairns (pop. about 120k) which is Rugby League heartland the general AFL recruiters didnt see much of him, but Gold Coast played a team in the VFL in 2010 and they picked him up as a zone selection in 2010 and put him on their inaugural year list. I remember liking him from the first time I saw him because he was so agile for a 100kg / 200cm player and thought why the **** cant we find somebody his size and ability?

Why does this thread still have a rumour tag?

Pls watch, all those who have doubts about him being worth pick 10. 202cm, very athletic, excellent contested mark, leads to good spots, great goal sense, great skills for a big man. Pick 10 is a steal.

What excited me most about that package was seeing a forward take a good mark full steam on the lead. Something our side lacks. Doesn't mind a kick around the body either.

So much this ^. Add to which is both sided, quick and with a swagger he can back up. Looked alright in the ruck too.
Pick 10 is a steal. Get it done by being fair. Geez he's an impressive player, salivating already. The guy's awesome.
He'll love a packed AO and a packed AO will love him.
