must admit seeing Charlie having a chat with Krak developed a tear of joy in my eye, to think at one time we lost a great talent in Krakouer to Gold Coast where he and Charlie were inaugural teammates and a few years later coming off Port's training track Nathan would be the one to greet him at the hallowed Alberton oval:thumbsu::hearts:

Yeah, I had forgotten they knew each other. Dix seems a nice bloke.

Well so far Charlie looks like he will be a brilliant addition to our club, both as a player and just as a genuine good guy. If he plays well and starts to kick a few I reckon there will be a stack of kids out there sporting his number. He seems to have a great attitude, very laid back, but sounds like he is here for all the right reasons and prepared to put in the hard yards to make himself a better player. If any of you are heading to the Port Club tomorrow night (I'll be in Vic :() let's know how he goes.

I wonder if he is the tallest forward in the comp at the moment? He have a few centimetres on Kennedy Hawkins and Tredders.

It won't happen Rd1 but early in the season Charlie you will be playing in front of 50k everyone of them cheering you.
You'll see a Charlie banner or 2 maybe even hear a chant.
You and us..........a match made in heaven.
Ps thanks Ken :hearts:
Maybe the Charlie Dixon and first game of the season factors push it to 50k?

Anyway he'll get his first taste of NGI and NTUA! Surely that will shock him.

Ps. Can't ****en wait!

Now that we have Dixon we have even more reasons to fix up Butcher's kicking for goal.

Not even thinking of 2016 here as we still have Schulz.
If Butcher can get to 50% plus we will have a forward line of Butcher and Dixon for quite a number of years and that will make opposition coaches poop themselves.

i finally had the fist pump moment about this, specifically in his interview where he was talking about how he plays for Ken, that's what you wanna hear. Kenny you magnificent man. Attracting talent like he's Pep Guardiola.

How many goals could the big dix kick with a full season this season and draw we've got?

Might have to put a small investment on him to win the Coleman this season. ($21 on Sportsbet)

Dunno man, if he plays more up the ground to give an option, and has to share with Schultzy- with Wingard popping up for a lazy 50 could be tough

I'd prefer it if none of our players won the Coleman but we kick more goals than all other teams.
Not sure what the ratio of premierships to Coleman medal would be, but I'd guess that teams with a good spread of goalscores would have a better record.
