I don’t mind his role. When he’s around the ball, he competes hard and executes reliably. Marks strongly, kicks well. Ideally he does need to get more involved though. Mind you, a small forward that actually kicks goals makes a change compared to our high HFs (even Richards) who don’t trouble the scoreboard enough

Outside Rioli who had his issues (injury and off field) he’s one of the only small forwards we’ve had in years that shows he’s remotely capable of consistently hitting the scoreboard.

Could he be “better”? Sure. But he’s deadset the least of my concerns with Port at the moment. Doing absolutely fine.

pretty solidly built too and saw he barely goes to ground because of his low centre of gravity then tackles hard. Was worried with us post rioli but this dude not as flashy but different type of reliable
