Player Watch Pick #23 (2019) - Dylan Williams

Positive: The young guy is a goal scorer.

Negative: Shut down his left side bias and he could be in trouble.
But.....I would say the same about Buddy Franklin.....and be underestimating his impact (er - grossly).
Noticed this in Williams' pre-draft highlights. All left side.

thats 3 rucks kpp he’s gotten over the top of there.

looks like Sam Hayes, Goldsack and we can’t see the guy on the other side but he’s clearly taller than Goldsack and close to or similar height as hayes.

Big Pete?

Fairly impressive leap, looking forward to when he gets to make his debut.

With the game so congested players that have the core strength and ability to break tackles are priceless. Turning 50:50 contests into clean possession. Same for contested marking.

I’d love Williams to become one of those types for us.

If Dixon, Marshall, Georgiades, Gray, Rozee, Butters, Motlop, Westhoff and Ebo is played forward and there aren't many injuries, keep their form and we keep winning, but more importantly scratch matches are only 60 minutes or AFL 15's type games, Dylan will struggle to get a game this year.

It'd be a shame not to see Williams play this year.
