Spot on. Saw two occasions where he was free and they chose a different option. No biggie… hopefully he becomes a regular.

Took some heavy hits whilst holding the mark. That’s a great, hard to teach just have to have it, kind of trait.

Yea not an unfair comment, first game though. Probably not quite at the fitness level and working out the game plan.

I thought it was a decent debut he looked solid enough, got involved in a few nice chains, took an impressive mark etc. should be enough there once he adjusts to AFL tempo.

His kick passing was pretty good. Not up to the speed of the game, so give him time.

You won't ever see them.
Yes he's a great SANFL player, like McEntee, Watkins, McLennan, MacKinlay & Mead. He's had his game & it's proved a point to Centrals fans... now he can go back to the Maggies (and take Mead with him).

One match so far to early to make any calls, a big step up for any player from the lower grades. Not sure what long term role they have in mind, on the positive, he took some big hits and didnt flinch which was good.

Bloody hell the guy has never played an AFL game, have you watched an SANFL game lately it is several levels down from the AFL not to mention he has never played with those team mates before I thought he did bloody well for the time he got.

Maybe, but not only was it his first AFL game but he didn't have an AFL preseason and a few weeks ago was a part time footballer playing in a second rate state league.

It's really not the first mid-season drafts were held in the early 90's before it was scrapped, the clubs want it the media just cover anything AFL to death it's unavoidable.

There's nothing wrong with it, it's another avenue for players to make it & clubs with list/injury issues to plug some holes.
