The more I think about it, the more I like this selection. Potential to become anything. A young 18 year old and already 202cm with plenty of upside.
Hope he doesn’t get delisted at seasons end surely.

He looks like he has put on some size since last year. December baby. Lots of upside. It would be nice if port could develop a tall defender. Goldsack should be able to develop him.

Dont remember the last 200cm+ defender weve had. From the weekend teams alone Sam De Koning, Rory Lobb Sam Taylor Harris Andrews Alex Pearce all in excess of 200cm but also athletically gifted and read the play exceptionally well. Could have a good one on our hands if he develops as the names above

He looks pretty good from the highlights. As a very bottom aged tall (december birthday) it was likely difficult to get a read on his potential in last years draft but from the vision he would have likely gone in the 2025 national draft had we not got him this time. I like the fact that he goes in hard and is not afraid to crash in. He also shows some poise with the ball.
All I wanted is potential and he's got it.
A position of need and overly tall for that position.
Good local pickup.

Yes. Physically he is stronger and more developed then Kyle Marshall when we drafted him.
I was fan of wanting him in the 2024 National Draft. He gives us more versatility but Im assuming he will be developed as a KPD first and chop out in the ruck later on as he continues at AFL level.

Virtually no decent talls have come from the MSD. Let’s not get excited like we just got pick 3 in the ND.
Sour puss here but we’ve been in this position nearly 10 times the past 10 years with plucking “developing” KPP late in draft/rookies etc and not one of them has come on.
This blokes more likely to be delisted in 3 years than play a game based on the history of his pick and player type.

Obviously a project player with a big upside, not 19 until December this year. Seems to have a frame that should fill out. He appears to be able to take a good contested mark, has good speed and looks good below his knees.
