DBJ last night said he is studying chemical engineering. Its mechanical. Wonder if he has dropped the course or dropped some subjects to lighten the workload, as he said he should be at lectures when he did his first interview with the media, at Alberton, after being drafted.

Surely you can’t do an engineering degree and be a full time footballer?

Why not? you could do it part time, say 1 subject a semester may be 2, as long as its not a subject that involves lab work as lab sessions aren't flexible. Its common for footballers to do 1 or 2 uni subjects a year. Plenty of free time in September, October and November if you don't make finals.
 
Tom Jonas and Jack Hombsch were both doing law at Adelaide Uni while they were playing for us.
