Was reading somewhere a few days back (maybe on the net) that he had a major say in seeing Sandery from North's under age group who had little previous footy experience and gave him a go, then changed his position and role on the field, and in recent months has rocketed up Draft boards.
So he must have an eye for talent and developmental nouse.

Nice to have some people coming in who are universally rated by people who know or worked with them instead of "literally who?" People plucked from the bush leagues or people like Lobbe and Sutcliffe etc who no one has ever spoken up for because they never built up any body of work and were just parachuted in.
