With Lord coming off a shocker today and Finlayson still struggling to compete in the air, there is a chance however slim that he might get an early debut next week.

Probably not the right opponent to debut him against, but sometime this season I’d like him to get his feet wet at AFL level, get him aware of what’s needed to succeed at the top level.

Armstrong, Faul, Trainor and his brother have already got games this year. Tauru likely will too.

Good for him. Best to spend this year learning his craft at SANFL level, even though our current side clearly isn't the best environment for a kid playing forward.

Let Lord have a run at it at AFL level. He needs to wake up to himself after today's poor showing. It is not good enough to play from behind and offer no contest when you're kicking into a stiff wind as we were in the second quarter. Let's see if Ollie can get back on the bike.

The scary thing is, is that this would have been a directive from coaches (Chad). They have NFI

Whether he's ready or not, giving him a taste of AFL wouldn't be the worst thing. We never do it with our developing talls, but this season is piss so why not? Luko back in a few weeks so it's doubtful.
