Probably more than Finlayson in a 3 tall forward line.I guess the question is could he do more than Ollie Lord.
If Finlayson is considered JUST a tall forward - then sure. With Lord coming off a shocker today and Finlayson still struggling to compete in the air, there is a chance however slim that he might get an early debut next week.
Finlayson doesn't ruck... He might go into the middle but he doesn't ruck.If Finlayson is considered JUST a tall forward - then sure.
But he's not, he's a part time ruck, and even went to defence at times too... So then no, he's not a decent replacement.

Bit harsh. He was poor in the ruck last week - but he's done a great job of it in the past.Finlayson doesn't ruck... He might go into the middle but he doesn't ruck.
Disagree... Did well a long time ago when we first put him in the ruck.. but got found out rather quickly and has beenBit harsh. He was poor in the ruck last week - but he's done a great job of it in the past.

Power move: Port tall's remarkable rise to AFL's No.1 ruck
The decision to swing Jeremy Finlayson into the ruck has proved an unlikely winner for the Powerwww.afl.com.au
Perhaps - think he's always been better as an "around the ground" ruck rather than a centre square one anyway, where his mobility and below the knees handling is quite good for a tall. The issue is his fitness seems absolutely shot (not the only one this season)Disagree... Did well a long time ago when we first put him in the ruck.. but got found out rather quickly and has beena liability since.
