Found this in a BF thread discussing the 2012 draft:

" but I will give you one thats are real chance to be drafted c williams from bushies similar in height and size to both doug morris & olie wines can play back, onball & forward kicked seven goals against falcons brilliant overhead mark unfortunately season has been cut short by shoulder op. provedhe can play back last year in tac cup and this year has done it middle and forward."

and this:
"Cadeyn Williams might have been able to push for an early selection, but because of injuries he will have only played 11 TAC Cup games in two years. You can only get drafted so high on the back of essentially one game."

Hmm more of a project than our other picks. versatile player. can be damaging up forward and take a mark.

more than happy with the pick. think we can get him past his injuries.

Out Jayden in Cayden. ;)
According to Andrew Carson from the Bushrangers, he would of made the Vic Country team if not injured. He must have some talent so we just have to hope his injuries are behind him. It is good to see the Tigers take one kid in the rookie draft. He is 186cm and 85kg so he is a nice all round size for AFL footy.

is he as tall or shorter than post i got the impression he was midfield size ~183-187

dont think he is a KPP, but looking at the info that I have read googling, this kid might be a nice hidden smoky that we are throwing the dice with...one of those hidden gems...apart from his run of injuries over the stretch, the rest seems to suggest he is a pretty sharp player who can kick goals, play back and in the midfield...so its now up to him and the development team to extract it..

Good set of mitts going off the highlights. Hadn't heard of him before. Seems versatile.

Common theme with today's rookie picks seems to be marking ability

Welcome to Tigerland Cayden and hopefull the brunt of your injuries are behind you now!
Tear 'em up on the track and live the dream!

Is anyone concerned that we seem to be picking up a lot of players this post season with "past injuries" has the potential to blow up in our faces.

The thing is that if 1 pays off we are 1 player better off. Lets face it, if you look at the rookies from the last few years, we would take 1 in a heart beat now. At least they have some basis of talent. IF it it blows up in our faces, we have lost diddly squat in terms of drafted real deal newbies and our rebuilding for the future.

Here you go boys - get the baby oil out - looks like a tallented kid with exceptional character

Cadeyn Wiliams - Murray Bushrangers

DOB 4/8/94 Ht : 186cm Wt : 85kg

Cadeyn kicked 7 goals against Geelong earlier in the year and was tracking well until he had a shoulder reconstruction. He would have played for Vic Country and most likely of been All Australian had he not been injured and alot of clubs have been mindful of him due to his early season form.

A noted big game player Cadeyn is a natural leading forward with a deadly accurate kick that can go into the middle or play on the wing because he has a great defensive side to his game and lives for the 1 percenters like tackling , shepparding and smothering. Cadeyn will do almost anything to be successful and is natural leader around the club Cadeyn was meticulous in his rehab and became one of the team runners as soon as passed fit to do so. Before that he volunteered his time in the stats room doing what he could around the club to help the team as best he could. I think Cadeyn if picked up by a club should be at full training by late Febuary and due to his extraordinary tank will be pushing for VFL selection by May. He will be a shot to debut in the 4th quarter of the year probably around rounds 16-18 he such an emmense talent.

Good luck to the kid.

Cost us barely anything but seems the only thing hindering him is his injury history. If he can overcome that, then we could have a decent player here.
