Should consider Jack Ross from Oakleigh as a later pick. Could be a bargain Inside mid.

Keep an eye on Xavier Duursma, Will Golds and Jack Ross

Jack Ross debuting Saturday for Richmond

Handy inside mid at U18 level. Fan of him, was hoping we picked him up but went way earlier than expected.

Yes I am a bit salty that Ross is in Yellow and Black, especially when we could have paired him up with his old teammate Rowbottom.

Will be the steal of the draft. Pick 43 looks ludicrous already.

I was a fan of Rowbottom and was hoping he would last until our later pick's
lets hope the 2 boys play together in the future in a Richmond premiership

Every time I hear Jack Ross he impresses me no end.

What a massive future this kid has.

Reckon he could be a future skipper if he keeps going the way he is

With all bigger hype around Stacky and Pickett, has J Ross been somewhat forgotten?

He was holding his own before his injury earlier in the year and you could see from some of the shots of him in the crowd GF day that he was hurting from not being out there. If he can use that disappointment and get the step up from another pre season I can see him being a part of the team in 2020. Not sure who he displaces but a good problem to have.

The 22 from the GF plus Rance, Jacky G, Stacky, Higgo, Rossy makes for a very competitive round 1 team selection without even considering anything Balta, Naish, RCD, CCJ, Grth, Cholly and Eggy can do.

Is it time for the new season yet??????

Dimma wasn’t lying when he said Ross has slimmed down.

Lighter weight to help reduce strain on his recent ankle injury...
also gives him another another string to his bow if he can replicate some of ex tiger brando ellis's traits as a gut running dour defensive type and link up winger. we know he's a hard as a cats head on the inside but improving his work in the open spaces could make him a top liner, a strong, swift, no nonsense mid who can bullock and then be a twinkle toes on the outside too....mmmmm yes please.
