Any news as to whether Pass might be that illusive fifth man on the interchange based on those results?

Newsflash !

Reports just in saying Will Pass, Richmond's Pick 70 in the recent 2022 draft was involved in a late night altercation at The Golden Knob nightclub in the City. It's understood that he responded angrily to vile taunts about his lean frame and knock knees from several members of the public at the venue.

After confronting the hecklers and flying into a rage, he was required to be held back by no one. After the fracas, police were called and it took no officers any time to hold him down while he was questioned by detectives enjoying Christmas drinks.

He was later seen storming out of the rear door of the premises brandishing some chopsticks, lightly caressing a stripper's boob on the way through and chowing down on a kebab. This may well have been his first meal in weeks.

When asked, a mobster representing the AFL said that this was definitely the last straw as far as Richmond was concerned. That statement was left hanging in the air when Pass returned to the venue to loudly announce to the waiting media that he had just been signed by Ralph Carr and had already purchased his first inner city warehouse.

As the press gallery surged forward to get the next question in, Carr abruptly called a halt to the proceedings, placing a fawn coloured, zip up jacket with those stripey kind of elastic cuffs over Will Pass' head and escorted him away through the media scrum.

At the same time Ricky Nixon was seen quietly slinking away.

Rarely if ever, has such a low pick in the draft as Pass garnered so much attention from the footballing public. Only yesterday Pass made headlines carrying both his boots in one hand as he made his way into training at Punt Road. The ensuing cacophony of camera clicks, press gallery questions and fans asking for autographs has made it virtually impossible for Will Pass to lead any kind of normal life. When questioned Pass' only comment was "They tried to make me wear a Reebok, I said no, no, no !" Richmond is sponsored by Puma.

Sportsbet already having Pass odds on favourite to be drunk at next year's Brownlow and Caroline Wilson was seen earlier in the day screwing her mouth up in distaste. Whether it was at the mention of Sportsbet or the antics of Richmond's latest bad boy is unknown at this time.

It's also reported Pass has a younger brother who is nearly a foot taller. Carlton showing the most early interest.

All in all its looking like Richmond will continue to persue some of the most controversial, tattoo wearing, shocking haircutted, Ralph Carr managed youngsters in the AFL landscape. When asked to comment club CEO Brendan Gale couldn't see what all the fuss was about - "Look, the young fella was out having some private time at a City nightclub. I'd simply ask the media to take it one week at a time. This kid has all the tools and we were amazed that he was still available at Pick 70. We think we have the culture to get the best out of him at Richmond".

As usual, Gale was able to clearly enunciate the benefits of having such colourful characters at the Club and was roundly applauded by the waiting media throng, who nodded vigorously to each other. Gale was last seen riding an electric moped to AFL HQ.

As for Will Pass ? Well, this reporter has joined the drinks card holding, too tight suit wearing, slightly overweight, Melb Uni educated pack of AFL accredited (sorry Mick Warner - no soup for you !) "journalists" on 24hr #PassWatch so you won't have to wait long before this late picked, low hanging fruit, wild card gets a parking ticket or runs a red light and we crucify him for being young and a bit silly.

Now it's back to you in the studio Eddie !

If I could do a double  i would
