Welcome to the SUNS Jed! With pick 3 in the 2023 draft we have secured a generational talent in Jed Walter.
The Gold Coast Suns Academy prospect, who measures 194cm, is as exciting a key forward prospect as the national draft and has similar attributes to Curnow with his power, strength, marking ability and attack on the footy. ”He's something special,” one recruiter said of Walter. Riewoldt mark II.

Now that Jed is officially a Sun, what do we know about him? He spent the early years of his life in South Perth and moved to the southern Gold Coast a decade ago at 8 years of age. Contrary to what West Aussies may have you believe, he started playing footy for the first time on the GC for Palm Beach Currumbin in the U9s. So he is very much Gold Coast football product. Supported West Coast when he was younger but always had a soft spot for the Suns and anyone who saw him on Gettable today would be aware that he actually knows his Suns history and proved it by blitzing his teammates in the Suns quiz. He is of course a product of PBC the club - and PBC the school. A generational talent that's sure to excite Gold Coast crowds for the next decade.

Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen. We're about to go on a wild ride with Jed Walter!

Give him #1 please
You really want to put our cursed number on him? I reckon play it safe and give him something like #20.
