Why not? See no reason he couldn’t be a forwad 50 ruck, similar to Tom Hawkins. Just use his strength to try and get the ball and blast it on his foot.

King I can’t see it as much as a ruck. And Read is barely a ruck right now. His hit outs stats are pretty terrible. He averages 4 a game…

As for running King, Witts, Read, Walter, Moyle, I personally think that is too much for too little reward. If Moyle plays, Read or Walter probably doesn’t.

Guess we have to wait and see what other teams use it for, but I suspect a midfielder or speedy small forward bursts will become the norm. We want to stay as fresh as possible all game. Should be the same principle as the sub, but you can use them all game really instead of waiting.

Pretty easy to rank in your draft class if you’re one of few KKP / ruckman. Why is it necessary to play both?

Thanks for the info. Definitely has potential.

But I’m not interested in how players compare to other 1st/2nd year kids (especially just from a narrow list of rising stars) in the league, not if they are in our best 23.

Our list demographic is in the perfect place for midfield and backline. But our forward line is very young. So they need to come on in leaps and bounds this offseason to give us a real shot.

Dimma invested heavily in him this season. I have some confidence in him to develop, but I initially thought he was a slow burn. Might come along quicker than I first thought. For our team’s sake, I think he needs to.

Otherwise Moyle may just take his spot as second ruck with the lack of sub now.

Anyway, this is a Walter thread: a player who needs to practice goal kicking all off-season. Get that ball drop fixed!
