This thread is devoted to all that is Ayce. It will serve as a suppository of information on Ayce and avoid derailing other threads with stories of Ayce.

Ayce’s every spoil, handball, or the times he draws an opponent away from a contest. The times he nearly made a contest. The times Ayce got a tap out to his team mate without giving away a free.

The celebration that will be had when Ayce kicks the ball will be intense. A mark will be similarly revered.

Let us celebrate all that is Ayce here.

Which Ayceist group do you belong to? The United Ayceist Alliance, Unified Ayceist League or the Allied Ayceist Allegiance?
The People's Front of Acyeists....there are factions....

Acye-Holes - nuf said

Ayceists - Those who don't fully believe in Ayce's talent, but think he may well still be growing into his body of work, and will reserve total judgement until 31st October (Judgement Day)

Aycists - Those who have written off Acye

Ayceophiles - Those who have a strong and pure love for Ayce (apart from his family, a secretive and elusive group)

A summary of Acye in Mofra's Bottom 50 reprinted for our pleasure here...

Player 49 - Ayce Cordy

Pictured: Unfortunately the only thing Ayce has in common with Joe Daniher is his dentist

Ayce? Well, his parents had a sense of irony.
Anyways, let's go back to front. Ayce saved his career with good VFL form at the end of 2014, which is not what you want to hear from a first round draft pick after five pre-seasons on a list.
He was actually one of the most agile players at the 2009 draft camp, a fact which meant Bulldog recruiters forgot everything else about him. He has progressed, after much development, to be an "ok" ruckman at VFL level and someone who "often creates a target" in the forward 50. These are the sort of excuses that I'd often hear from drunk mates at 3am Chevron in the mid 90s.... "she's not that big, she mostly fits on that chair" "dude, it's a couch". It doesn't wash much these days, either.

Anyway, he did mange one senior game this year, putting his tally to 19 which is considered close enough to inclusion.
This agility came at a cost - he weighed about the same as one of KFC boy's meals when drafted, and has spent his entire AFL career thus far eating which has presumably left no time for actual AFL training.

Despite a desperate desire for anyone over Libba senior's height to take a stand in the forward 50, Ayce wasn't given a chance. Heck, even Mark Austin was thrown forward in desperation at some point during the year.

He is pretty bright off field and studying medicine, and one thinks that may be useful sooner rather than later for Ayce. If you hadn't improved this year you'd be much higher up on the Bottom 50 list.

Ayceophiles - Those who have a strong and pure love for Ayce (apart from his family, a secretive and elusive group)
Aycenostics - those who actually know the man (or demigod or whatever he now is). I've met him and had a chat ... does that count?

Aycexuals - those who get off on all things Ayce and even create threads about him. Can also be applied to certain Aycenostics (those who "know" him in the biblical sense).

Aycension - the elevation of Ayce to a divinity. (Elevation categories: Rookie --> Star --> Superstar --> Divinity)

Aycymmetry - hoping his brother measures up, but not in quite the same way.

Aycetrology - trying to work out whether he will be among the stars.

Aycetronomy - trying to work out whether he's a genuine star or a shooting star... or just an aycteroid.

Ayceteria - response to an Ayce mark or kick, characterised by one or more of: trembling, screaming, weeping and frothing at the mouth.

Aycetronaut - 1. One who travels among the stars 2. (vulg.) Ayce's stats sheet.

Aycylum - 1. Protection granted to followers of the great Ayce. 2. Ultimate home for those who focus obsessively on Ayce. (Let this be a warning!)

I was actually torn as to whether I should place it here or just continue to stink up the other thread some more. Now I get to do it in two places at once, just like home.

Here's one that I did earlier, for the suppository.

ayce2.jpg

Lest anybody get confused, I am a genuine long term supporter of Ayce.

If you are an Acyciest , does that make you a non- believer ?

Admittedly my defintion of Acyeist skirts close to being an Aycenostic.

An interesting philosophical discussion.
