Excited by his kicking and running. Can float up the ground wing too. Gonna be deadly in the backline with Cole Nelson Duggan.

Will probably allow Duggan to push up into the midfield and wing.

Both Witherden and Langdon provide depth for the 17 - 22 spots in our team and not much else.

Each player has a little bit of improvement to come but they aren't world-beaters.

Good pickups for the price we paid though.

So we got him for effectively 2 third rounders, AND Brisbane are paying a chunk of his salary?

Really like this trade. He’s a great size, good kick, and the right age in our transitioning list.

Welcome to the West, Alex. May you play many games for us.

Will always remind me of the word imminent.
Alex 'imminemt' Witherden.

Bargain pick up getting him at his lowest value, and getting Bris to pay a significant portion of his wage for 2 years. Bizzare.
We owe Brisbane.

If they come knocking for that one player Gary Lyon said keep an eye on, that one player on our list who's gonna be something special and poach him, well, it's goodbye Ainsworth.

I've watched almost every game you've played Alex (a bit like I did with Jetta & Redden), so keen to see you in Eagles colours. A bit like with Lewis Taylor, wise time to leave the Lions with Starcevich overtaking you as well as needing a different look in that Lions backline.

Along with Langdon, great age-bracket depth on the cheap, two quality young men. Hopefully Langdon can go forward a bit if Ah Chee & Petch continue to be spuds.

Like with Seabs and Sinclair, also good feels to see another Eagle end up at the Swans.
