A lightly-built medium forward, Treacy joined Claremont from the amateur leagues with Cable Beach and became a consistent scoring forward with 18 goals in 17 games. He generally used the ball well and made the right decisions with ball-in-hand. He will have to improve his endurance if he is to diversify his roles within a side, particularly a potential midfield role in the future. At 69kg, Treacy still has plenty of room to build size, and his rapid rate of development to go from an amateur league to a draft prospect so quickly shows that he is a capable learner and one who will likely succeed if thrown the challenge at the next level.

Offers pace and skill in attack. Played 17 senior WAFL games this season and averaged 13 disposals and a tick over a goal per game. Was previously a member of Sydney's Academy but returned home to Broome in 2017 after a knee reconstruction. As a mature-age recruit, would hope to make an immediate impact.

Raw talent, costs very little, huge potential upside :whitecheck: :whitecheck:

Finally using the rookie draft properly. Knock me down with a feather.
Plus we seem to have a stupid good strike rate with small forwards.

Petch, Ryan, Cameron and Rioli in a couple of season run.

Seems like a low cost pick with raw talent that we can let develop.

Goal of the year.

What a gun.

Definitely learned from the past mistakes of not picking up local talent Kelly Jetta etc.

crazy goal. Love the fact he backed himself and took the risk. Some players just don't have that capability at all and it's not easy to teach. I'm looking forward to seeing him and Cameron in the team together just going mental in the forward line.

Shocking work ethic, delist.

Shocking work ethic, delist.
Imagine being able to tell your boss that you got drafted by a AFL side so won't be turning up for work.
Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it
