I am really impressed with this guy, already a long way in front of the rest of our second tier midfielders. With a bit more size and fitness should be well entrenched in the b22. Most promising recruit we have had for some time, probably since OAllen, Ryan and Rioli. Shows that good players can be drafted post 18 years old.

Hopefully the only injury that involved Conner West on the weekend was the injury to the egos of all the other Beagles who watched a guy come in from outside the system and made them look second rate. Get him in the AFL side ASAP I reckon.

what I like is he`s a play maker and backs himself in at blistering pace , he`s got all the tools WCE just need to add the polish which should elevate him in a professional environment ..

Heard the aim is for him to be getting games sooner than later.

That makes sense. We need him to help with injuries to Shuey and Kelly. When those two come back likely be playing WAFL.

So get the lad in in the next 2-3 games to see how he goes and help fill the void.

If he is fit he surely plays this week. Could not have been more impressive last week. Clean in congestion, not scared of body contact and generating good momentum out of his possessions.

The plus as well is he's a inside mid. The role itself is pretty easy. see ball get ball and move it forward. Don't need him memorizing a tonne of gameplan junk.

Seriously? I thought he was out full stop -no mention of him whatsoever. Can they do that after team announcement, a last minute rope-in? Fantastic if they pulled that off!
