He says his best spot is forward, so he should be played there. Harder to play forward than the defence, so we should not waste his obvious forward talent. We can go to the free agent pool for a mature age backman if we need it.

Think Brander needs to follow a similar regime but not over do it like Barrass ended up doing this season.
Interestling Barrass was 192cm when we got him and now around 197cm mark.

This makes no sense. He's a forward, we drafted him with pick 13, we must believe he has the talent to play AFL.
